We sold out our Limited Edition run of “Expecting” in record time, and so we have come back with a very small exclusive release of just a small run of “Expecting” in a very special offering, with a twist.

This is a bigger print than our first, which was just under 5 inches, and is a 12 × 12 inch print in a 16 × 16 inch wood frame.

Each one will be hand painted with gold embellishing ink, making each one of these a 1 of 1 original.

There will only be 5 available before Christmas, each made to order. They are €175 each, shipping will auto add €6 at checkout, so they are €169 plus €6 shipping for a total price of €175.

The edition will be of 20, but with each one being hand painted and taking a lot of time to produce, we won’t be able to release the rest until after Christmas! They can still be made to order so even if they are sold out please reach out on Instagram and we will register your interest for the remaining 15 that will be left.

We are offering free shipping within Ireland and the UK.

These can alternatively be collected from my home in Newtownmountkennedy, Wicklow, if you wish to skip putting it in the post so close to Christmas!

This piece brings two Irish creative worlds together. The print is a portrait of strength, resilience, and unconditional love. The flowing lines mirror the emotional current of early motherhood, where the world seems to soften around a single, quiet moment. The sun setting behind mum’s shoulder, the symbol of life force shared between mum and baby, who forever are each other’s sunshine.

Afif El Khuffash, a neonatologist and digital artist whose work explores the emotional reality of early parenthood, collaborates with Holly Christine Callaghan, a Wicklow based artist known for her detailed portraiture and depiction of strong feminine forms.

Printed on premium archival stock and strictly limited to 20, making every piece a genuine collaboration and a one of one within the series. The Frame size is 400×400mm, or 16inches, the print size is 12×12inches.
